Our team is steadily growing along with the rest of the company. So from June, as well as launching our new website, we are happy to welcome new faces to TripsbyTips. Three new employees are now helping us organise the editorial department, the Geo-data management and the IT department.
Bianca: A new face in the editorial team
Since June 1st, 2016, Bianca has been supporting Carla and Caroline in the editorial team. Originally a countryside girl, last summer she already made a guest appearance in the capital city when she completed an internship at TripsByTips. In March 2016, she finished her linguistics studies in Paderborn – and we’ve kept her busy ever since. Bianca loves exploring foreign countries, and would like to go on a trip around the world. Her favourite places include a birds’ eye view over Istanbul as well as her garden back at home, between fields and meadows.
She knows geo-data like the back of her hand: Julia
Since mid-July, Julia is also a member of the TripsByTips team. The 33-year-old Berliner by choice originally hails from Lake Constance, but then she decided to move to Berlin for her studies in media informatics and geodesy. Once here, she worked with different projects as a software developer. Now she looks after our geo-databases. In her free time, Julia loves action – surfing is her passion. At her young age, she has already travelled all of the continents. And what’s typical for her is that she never buys a return ticket ahead of time.
Hansell provides IT support, Latin American style
Hansell, born in South America, also joined the team in mid-June. After his IT studies, he worked there as a web developer. Then he moved with his family to Berlin two and a half years ago. TripsByTips is glad to have Hansell on board supporting the IT team. He loves travelling to cities by the sea, since they remind him of his Caribbean hometown.
